About us

TD&DS Technical Documentation & Data Services GmbH is a reliable and respected partner of leading aircraft manufacturers, conversion centers and companies in the supply industry worldwide. As a specialized service provider, TD&DS offers comprehensive expertise in the creation of technical documentation, the preparation of technical and commercial data as well as in the areas of training and consulting. With in-house developed software solutions, the company also provides innovative tools for the generation and processing of SGML, component and document data.

Taking a look at the past

From the beginnings to today
TD&DS GmbH was founded and included in the commercial register on January 30, 1998. The founding partners, who had previously worked in the civil aviation industry for many years, brought with them extensive experience and expertise, particularly in the area of “Vendor Support Monitoring” at Airbus Deutschland GmbH. Here they maintained close relationships with equipment suppliers and were responsible for technical documentation, spare parts data and other customer-related services. Numerous suppliers from the aviation industry, including manufacturers of seats, kitchen modules, communication electronics and toilet systems, have been using TD&DS’s services ever since and are testament to their continued satisfaction.

Growth and Innovation

In June 2000, due to steady growth, TD&DS moved to larger premises in Konrad-Adenauer-Straße in Neu Wulmstorf. With the increasing demand for specialized software solutions, TD&DS began to employ its own software developers in 2002. They developed the innovative products ARDOS and PLIP, which revolutionized the creation of technical documentation. These tools are now used not only internally, but are also very popular with customers and partner companies.

Since 2017, TD&DS has organized an annual customer workshop, which offers the opportunity to present news about the company’s software solutions and obtain direct feedback from users. The highlight is the combination of professional exchange and a special experience:
The workshop takes place on board the ColorLine fleet on a trip to Norway.
In 2020, TD&DS received DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 certification, confirming the high quality and reliability in the areas of technical documentation, data preparation, training and consulting as well as software and database development.

Setting the Course for the Future

TD&DS GmbH was strategically realigned in 2022. An adapted shareholder structure and redistributed management tasks ensure the company’s future viability and strengthen its position to successfully master future challenges.TD&DS remains a reliable partner in the aviation industry and continues to focus on innovation, quality and customer proximity in order to meet the requirements of a dynamic industry.
