Technical Documentation and Data Services GmbH (TDDS) appreciates your visit to our website and your interest in our products and services. Visitors to our website
Personal Information

No fonts and symbols are loaded from other websites, all fonts and symbols used are integrated on our website
Social media
We do not use social media, however there is a video about our company on our website which is hosted on the YouTube platform and integrated via HTML. If you follow the link, you will be directed to the YouTube website, which will cause it to collect the usual information. For more information:

When you send us an email
We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt and protect email traffic. If your email service does not support TLS, you should be aware that any emails we send or receive may not be protected in transit.
We monitor all emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that all emails you send are within legal parameters.

What do we do with the information you provide to us?
Any information you provide during the process will only be used for the purpose of processing your application or to comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
We will not share any of the information you provide during the recruitment process with third parties for marketing purposes or store your information outside the European Economic Area. We will keep the information you provide secure, whether it is electronic or physical.
We will use the contact details you provide to us with your application to contact you to process your application. We will use the other information you provide to us to assess your suitability for the role you have applied for.
What information do we need and why?
We do not collect more information than we need to fulfill our stated purposes and will not keep it for longer than necessary.

Application stage
We will ask you for your personal details, including name and contact details, your CV, training records and references.
You may also be asked for equal opportunities information. This information is not mandatory – if you do not provide it, it will not affect your application. This information will not be made available to anyone outside the HR department without your consent. Any information you provide will only be used to compile and monitor equal opportunities statistics.
During the application process, information will be generated by you and us. For example, you may complete a written test or we may take notes on the interview. This information is stored by TDDS for the duration of the process. If you are unsuccessful after the assessment of the position you have applied for, we will delete all your personal data.
Conditional offer
If we make a conditional offer of employment, we will ask you for information so that we can carry out pre-employment checks. You must successfully complete the pre-employment checks in order to proceed to a final offer. We are required to confirm the identity of our employees, their right to work in Germany and to ensure their trustworthiness, integrity and reliability.
You will therefore be required to provide the following
- Proof of your identity: You will be asked to visit our office with original documents, we will make copies.
- Proof of your qualifications: You will be asked to visit our office with original documents, we will make copies.
- You may be asked to complete a Criminal Record Declaration to declare any un-expunged criminal convictions.
- We will contact your references using the information you provide in your application to obtain information.
Our Code of Conduct requires all employees to declare if they have any potential conflicts of interest or if they are active in any political party. If you complete a declaration, the information will be stored in your personnel file.

This privacy policy has been written with brevity and clarity in mind. It does not describe in detail all aspects of the collection and use of personal data by TDDS. However, we will be happy to provide you with further information and explanations. Please direct any queries to the address below.
How you can access and control your personal data
TDDS tries to be as open as possible in giving people access to their personal data. Individuals can find out if we hold personal data by making a “subject access request” under the EU GDPR (European Union General Data Protection Regulation). If we hold information about you, we will do the following:
