In addition, we also provide our know-how in the areas of generating and processing SGML, component and document data with software products developed in-house.
As an innovative partner with around 20 employees, we have offered optimized solutions for the technical documentation and processing of data in accordance with international standards for over 25 years. In addition to creating written and data-related documentation, our authoring team is also responsible for verifying the documents created on site at our customers’ premises.
Our location in Neu Wulmstorf, just on the outskirts of Hamburg, offers ideal access to the A26 and B73 and makes it easy for you to reach us by car or public transport. The S5 line to Hamburg and Stade is also within easy reach. Your tasks:
Autonomous creation of complex and detailed technical descriptions, installation, operation, assembly and maintenance instructions in accordance with the applicable aerospace industry standards (primarily in XML or SGML)
Compliance with applicable specifications and requirements (customer specifications, iSpec2200, S1000D etc.), taking into account technical requirements
Reading, interpretation and understanding of design documents and parts lists
Modular creation of documents in our content management system (CMS, in-house development: ARDOS)
Coordination and commissioning of the illustration department
If necessary, participation in verifications of the produced manuals on site at our customers’ premises
What you bring with you:
Qualification/degree as a technical author (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification; subject to the appropriate criteria (e.g. previous technical knowledge, experience in the field of aviation or a linguistic background), we are also open to lateral entries
Fluent German (at least C1 level)
Written and spoken English (documentation is mainly in English)
Ability to formulate complex technical issues clearly and comprehensibly
Willingness and ability to learn new tools, especially our own software: ARDOS (XML editing and CMS) and PLIP (parts database).
Ability to communicate and work in a team
Preferably with a class B driver’s license
